A Day in the Life

What does a typical day actually look like at ZipHealthy? Here is an honest picture — no corporate polish, just a real day.

Morning

Arrive at Your Own Pace

Your day begins when your first client is scheduled within your agreed-upon hours. Settle into your own private office, review your schedule for the day, grab coffee, and take a few minutes to prepare. The morning is yours to set up however you need.

Mid-Morning

Client Sessions on Your Terms

Back-to-back sessions begin — individual, couples, or family, depending on your caseload preferences. You have input into your caseload composition based on your clinical specialization, expertise, and scope of competence. Between sessions, you have enough breathing room to jot down notes and reset before the next client walks in.

Midday

Lunch — However You Want It

Some weeks the team grabs lunch together. Other days, you eat at your desk, run an errand, or take a walk around downtown Bentonville. There is no mandatory lunch meeting. It is your break to use however recharges you.

Afternoon

Consultation, Sessions, and Documentation

Once a week, you join a structured peer consultation group — a chance to talk through challenging cases with colleagues who genuinely care. The rest of the afternoon is a mix of client sessions and built-in documentation time. You will never have to take charts home.

Evening

Your Evenings Are Yours

Most clinicians wrap up between 5 and 6 PM. There is no after-hours on-call. No weekend emergencies on your phone. When you leave the office, you leave the work there. We believe that is how it should be.

Growth and Development

Your clinical skills should keep growing long after licensure. We invest in your professional development because it matters — to you and to the clients you serve.

Continuing Education

Annual CE reimbursement plus paid time off specifically for training. Stay current, explore new modalities, and meet your licensing requirements without it coming out of your pocket or your personal time.

Peer Consultation

Weekly structured case consultation groups led by experienced clinicians. A dedicated space to discuss clinical challenges, share perspectives, and learn from each other in a supportive, confidential setting.

Specialization Support

Want to develop a clinical niche? We support additional certifications in EMDR, Gottman Method, DBT, and other evidence-informed approaches. Build the specialty practice you have been envisioning.

Advanced Training

We support conference attendance and advanced certification programs. Whether it is a national conference or an intensive training workshop, we want to help you get there.

Clinical Consultation

Consultation is available for complex cases from experienced clinicians on the team. You are never alone with a difficult case. Guidance and support are always accessible when you need them.

Career Pathways

Interested in leadership? Opportunities exist to lead therapy groups, develop specialty programs, or take on clinical supervision roles as our practice grows. Your career trajectory is not limited here.

Don't See Your Role Listed?

We're always interested in connecting with exceptional clinicians. If you hold an independent license and believe you'd be a strong addition to our team, we'd love to hear from you.

Start a Conversation

We hire exclusively at the independently licensed level. All candidates must hold a current, active, unrestricted license in the State of Arkansas. We do not offer pre-licensure supervision, internship, or practicum positions at this time.

Frequently Asked Questions

We know you have questions before making a career move. Here are honest answers to what candidates ask us most.

What does the interview process look like?

Our process is collaborative, not intimidating. After we receive your resume, we schedule a brief phone screen, followed by a video or in-person conversation with our clinical director. We want to learn about your therapeutic approach, your ideal caseload, and what kind of practice environment helps you thrive. You will also have the chance to ask us anything. Most candidates receive a decision within one week.

Do you offer supervision for newly licensed clinicians?

At this time, we require a minimum of 5 years of post-licensure experience. We do not offer pre-licensure supervision positions. However, we provide ongoing peer consultation and case consultation support for all clinicians on our team.

Can I set my own schedule?

Yes, within our established operating hours (Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 9 PM, and Saturday, 9 AM to 3 PM) and subject to practice scheduling needs. You have meaningful input into which days and hours you work. Most clinicians build a schedule that works for their lifestyle — some prefer mornings, others prefer afternoons or evenings. We work with you to find the right fit.

What is the client-to-therapist ratio?

We deliberately maintain manageable caseloads. Full-time clinicians typically see 30 to 35 clients per week, with built-in time for documentation, consultation, and breaks. We never pressure clinicians to overbook.

Do you support telehealth-only positions?

Yes. We support hybrid (in-office plus telehealth) and telehealth-only positions for clinicians licensed in Arkansas. Our HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform is fully set up and maintained by our administrative team.

What EHR system do you use?

We use a modern, cloud-based EHR system that is HIPAA-compliant and clinician-friendly. Our administrative team handles the technical setup, training, and ongoing support so you can focus on clinical work.

What insurance panels are you credentialed with?

ZipHealthy is credentialed with most major insurance carriers in Arkansas, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, and others. Our billing team handles all insurance verification, claims submission, and follow-up.

Is there a non-compete clause?

We believe in building a practice where clinicians want to stay because of culture, not contracts. We do not currently require non-compete agreements as a condition of employment. This practice is subject to change in accordance with business needs and applicable law, and any future changes would apply only prospectively.
