Frequently Asked Questions

How much will therapy cost me with insurance?
Most insured clients pay between $20 and $50 per session as a copay. Your exact cost depends on your plan's copay, deductible, and coinsurance. We verify your specific benefits before your first session so you know exactly what to expect.
When is payment collected?
Your copay or session fee is collected at the time of your appointment. We keep a card on file for convenient, automatic payment. You'll always know your cost before your session.
Can I use my HSA or FSA card?
Yes. Therapy is an eligible expense under most Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). You can use your HSA/FSA card as your payment method on file.
What if I'm out-of-network?
If we're not in-network with your plan, you pay the self-pay rate at the time of your session. We provide a superbill (detailed receipt) that you can submit to your insurance for partial reimbursement. Many clients recover 50-80% of the session cost this way.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee. We understand life happens and will always work with you when possible.
What is a Good Faith Estimate?
Under the No Surprises Act, self-pay and uninsured clients have the right to receive an estimate of expected charges before receiving services. We provide this automatically so you can plan ahead. If you're billed $400 or more above your estimate, you have the right to dispute the charge.
